General product warranty against defective materials and manufacturing defaults inclusive of parts and service are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the period commencing upon the date of purchase and continuing for the warranty period as specific in the respective product warranty term. 1. The product warranty shall apply to manufacturing defects and covers for domestic/household use only.
2. Product issues due to natural disaster, acts of god, customer misuse, mishandling, wrong installation, product handled by unauthorized technician, wear and tear parts, accessories are not covered by general product warranty.
3. Warranty card must be duly completed with dealer's chop, purchase date and returned to Exact Quality Sdn Bhd or registered online at www.e-quality.com.my within 14 days from the date of purchase. Warranty is valid only with proof of purchase or Tax Invoice.
4. Warranty card is not transferable and not replaceable in the event of loss.
5. Warranty is valid for appliances that are purchased from authorized dealer operated in Malaysia only.
6. Warranty service support is not valid outside of Malaysia.
7. Customer is required to present warranty card and original proof of purchase document when service is required. Exact Quality and its service agent reserve the right to refuse warranty service without warranty card and proof of purchase. Service request without warranty card and proof of purchase will be treated as over warranty service and customer is chargeable for labour and parts charges.
8. Warranty is void if any appliance is found with tampered/missing serial number on product, tampered warranty card, or found fitted with non-authorized accessories/spare parts, installed not in accordance to product installation guide.
9. Appliances warranty are not covered for commercial application such as laundry shop, hotel/hostel, health centre, restaurant, beauty salon, bakery & others unless otherwise it is specified by the respective product warranty terms and conditions.
10. Under the following circumstances, parts and labour will be chargeable even during the warranty period. The warranty DOES NOT extend to the followings: -
a. The serial number of the appliance has been altered, tampered with or removed.
b. The appliance has been tampered with, subject to misuse, negligence and damaged while in transit or damaged at customer site.
c. The appliance has not been installed, maintained or operated in accordance with instruction given by manufacturer's user, installation and maintenance guide.
d. The appliance has undergone repair, modification, or dismantled by non-authorized person.
e. Defect caused by abnormal voltage or in-coming power supply from the mains or generator supply.
f. Defect caused by fire, lightning, electrical disturbance, negligence, accidents and other natural disasters or due to deviation from recommended application and installation.
g. Defect caused by household pests such as lizard, rat, cockroach, spider, ant etc.
h. Defect caused by chemical reaction, rust, excessive heat, excessive dust, corrosive surroundings such as cement factory, animal farm, and the used of acidic/alkaline cleaning agent in the house.
i. Component parts which require replacement in the ordinary course of use due to normal wear and tear by reasons of their characteristic, including accessories.
j. External appearance parts which include cabinet, casing, doors, handles, joints, glass, knobs against damages, scratches and ageing.
k. Routine service maintenance (air conditioner, portable air conditioner etc.) and filter cleaning or replacement (washer, refrigerator, air cooler, air conditioner, dryer etc.)
l. Accessories.
11. Non-observance of clause 7 and 10, Exact Quality/ service agent reserves the right to reject the warranty claim.
12. Product warranty liability under warranty is limited to repair and / or replacement of defective product only.
13. We reserve the right to impose additional charges or refuse to attend to any product which is installed at location inaccessible, above 12 feet from the ground or found hazardous to its service agents.
14. We reserve the rights to use compatible and equivalent spare parts to fix the products under warranty.
15. Our decisions and solutions pertaining to complaints as results of defects, either workmanship or material shall be conclusive.
16. The purchaser will have no claim under the warranty in respect of personal injury, any loses, damages to property or consequential damage as the result of the usage of the product.
17. The product warranty terms and condition are subject to change.

Terms and conditions for products with extended warranty on selected part or component:
1. Please refer to product warranty card on general product warranty terms and conditions.
2. Extended warranty on specific part or component is valid if it is written under the terms & condition of product warranty. It must be activated through online warranty registration within 14 days from date of purchase. EQ reserves the right to reject warranty claim that is not registered online. Customer is required to provide proof of purchase and warranty card for warranty claim verification.
3. After the expiry of general warranty period of 12 months from purchase date, extended warranty on specified part covers spare part cost only. Labour and transportation are not covered by extended warranty.
4. Extended warranty if applicable, is valid for manufacturing defect of specified part under non-commercial use only.
5. If product is found modified or not used in accordance to user manual, warranty will be void.

Terms and conditions for products purchase online warranty policy:
1. Please refer to product warranty card on general product warranty terms and conditions.
2. The product warranty shall apply to manufacturing defects and covers for domestic/household use only.
3. Customer is required to present warranty card and proof of online purchase document when service is required.
4. After sales service support does not included the following:
a. The delivered Products are not in good condition like dented, body damage or scratches.
b. Missing parts from the delivered Products.
c. Incorrect order quantity of delivered Products.
d. The delivered Products in different model, colour, size or etc.
e. Request for refund on the product.
f. Wrong delivery address.

5. Installation of the delivered Products are not covered by after sales service center.
6. Collection for repair on the delivered Product is not covered by after sales service center. For Big appliance repair service, please call our service center. For Small appliance repair service, please bring to your nearest service center.
